David Arsenault is Avathon’s Chief Commercial Officer. He brings more than 40 years of experience across transportation and logistics, having held senior C-suite leadership roles spanning operations, sales, strategy, and technology.

David spent 25 years with global ocean carriers and is the former President and CEO of Hyundai Merchant Marine America. He has also held senior international leadership roles at Sea-Land and Maersk. Most recently, he served as Chief Strategy Officer at intermodal equipment provider DCLI, where he also represented Blume Global. Earlier in his career, David was President of third-party logistics provider GSC Enterprises and held senior leadership roles with technology companies GT Nexus and Globe Wireless.

David is a 1986 graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York. He currently serves on the Board of the Propeller Club of Los Angeles and Long Beach, where he is also a past President.
